The City of Rancho Cordova is updating our General Plan, which will help guide the city’s growth and development over the next 25 years. At this workshop, we’ll get your feedback on the draft vision and guiding principles for Rancho Cordova and hear your ideas for how the city should grow in the future.

Thank you for joining us on February 19, 2025 at Rancho Cordova City Hall, from 5:30-7:30pm. The workshop included an upfront presentation on the General Plan Update, followed by small group activities on how land is used in the city and what guiding principles should inform Rancho Cordova’s future.

Workshops Objectives  

• Review key takeaways from Phase 1 of the project, including input received through outreach events, and overview of the existing conditions snapshot report

• Provide background and context for the Vision + Guiding Principles and Land Use exercises 

• Review the Draft Vision and Guiding Principles and identify those most supported and suggested edits  

• Identify areas for change or “activity centers” throughout the city and the community’s desired land uses in these areas
